Little Deer has built homes and developed land with our own resources, which allows us to bring a unique perspective to the administrative aspect of your project including planning, budgeting, accounting and communication amongst the team’s professionals.
Little Deer prefers to begin working with clients before final construction drawings are complete. It is at this time and working with you and your architect that we are able to offer value engineering suggestions and develop costing models before the time and expense to develop final plans are incurred.
Little Deer employs the finest finish carpenters and has developed deep relationships with quality-driven subcontractors and suppliers. As seen in the Portfolio section of our website, Little Deer’s craftsmanship is apparent whether it’s in the custom cabinetry, exterior and interior details and even in the hidden areas of the home.
Little Deer has directly engaged the services of many of the top architects and engineers and we understand this process from the client perspective. As such, we are in a position to make referrals in this area based upon our actual experience.
Little Deer understands the difficulties in building or renovating a home for busy clients that are either full time or “weekenders.” We have worked for local clients and those whose permanent residences have ranged from Manhattan to Florida to California. We make ourselves available to accommodate your schedule whether its weekend site visits or meetings in Manhattan and we are always available by phone and email.
Little Deer has been asked to handle projects by clients looking for different styles of homes other than Shingle, Shaker or Farm House -- we have built a rustic log home, barns, contemporary styles with minimalist details, and a steel and glass artist’s studio. Each time we were able to exceed expectations. We embrace the challenge of new and different architectural styles and materials.
Little Deer measures client satisfaction by our long-term relationships and repeat business. We are often called back by our clients for a variety of projects including additions, barns, carriage and guest houses, ponds, tennis courts or to help them create a new look in their existing home.
